| The Hot Loop-Jacks Canyon Loop is a strenuous all-day hike. The route combines Hot Loop and Jacks Canyon Trail for a scenic 15.5 mile loop between the Village of Oak Creek and Schnebly Hill. The trail climbs to the summit of Horse Mesa between Jacks Canyon and Woods Canyon, then crosses the massive plateau to the 6,466-foot ridge at the head of Jacks Canyon on the Mogollon Rim. The hike returns down the Jacks Canyon drainage between Munds Mountain, Lee Mountain, and Horse Mesa. | |||||||||||||||
