| The Lower Chimney Rock Trail follows the western slope of Chimney Rock, circling Lower Chimney Rock along the east edge of the Dry Creek Basin. The path meanders through a juniper forest with views of Capitol Butte (Thunder Mountain), Lizard Head, and Cockscomb. The Lower Chimney Rock Trail is the westernmost trail in the North Urban Trail System. | |||||||||||||||
