This trail provided some elevation heading to Soldiers Pass which provided great views. Would recommend starting early since it was mid week when we did this and saw no one on the way out but 5 different parties on the way back. Did this as a trail run and avoid the jeep road if possible
Great hike for being so in/near town! Fun terrain. Not much shade. Really unique views of rock formations. Quite surprising it was so enjoyable. Will do again.
Quite Busy since you can start at Soldiers Pass TH. Heading towards Teacup and Sugarloaf you see alot of housing.Trails moves in and out and connects to Thunder Mountain in the West.A nice get away trail.
